AI, as they say, is here to stay. So I immersed myself in the world of Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, and Runway to make my ideas come to life.
Using a photo I took of a Cordyline fruticosa plant, I uploaded it to Runway’s Moodboard feature, which generated nine unique images inspired by the original reference. I then brought the moodboard into Adobe Firefly with the prompt “perfume ad,” generating a series of beautiful, atmospheric video clips. I edited the clips together and added typography to create the final piece.
Here's a music video I envisioned for Hole's track, Loaded , off their 1991 raw punk album, Pretty on the Inside. The lyrics are dark but portray a woman's struggle with substance abuse. I wanted to show the hurt little girl still trapped in her as she gets "loaded." I chose to show the substance as glitter, to reflect the band's babydoll aesthetic.
